On tour with Sheri. Bear Creek. At the end are two little lakes. With VERY cold water. As I was walking out of the water I felt my legs numbing and almost giving way. But afterwards you feel all tingly and very refreshed (if you are still alive).
On tour with Sheri. Hike in Bear Creek, Hope. On of my very favorite hikes. The first part is not very special, but when you come to the end of the valley you are rewarded for your effort.
On tour with Sheri. Beautiful weather when we were on Matanuska glacier. Of course I took way too many pictures; hard to stop when it is so gorgeous.
On tour with Sheri. Despite cloudy weather we had some beautiful vistas.
On tour with Sheri. On the camping trips, Sheri is quite the mountain goat. The number of times she has to be up on the van is amazing.
On tour with Sheri. Wildlife along the way. This owl just sat there posing for us even though it must have disliked the flash I used when taking its picture.
On tour with Sheri. Unfortunately "the mountain" (Denali) was not out. Meaning that it was obscured by clouds.
